Explore The Isle of Skye - Stay at a Bed and Breakfast
The Isle of Skye is famous for its magnificent scenery, natural beauty and many items of cultural or historical interest.
There are walks and climbs to suit everyone and this location has the added bonus of a seascape so you can admire stunning sunsets and starlit nights. The famous 'Northern lights' are often seen here in spring and autumn.
Skye is a large island - 60 miles long - with many leisure facilities including theatres, cinemas, galleries and sports.
Ashaig Bed and Breakfast
Ashaig Bed and Breakfast is in a wonderful location to explore this stunning island.
It offers peace and tranquillity, in an elevated position with uninterrupted views overlooking a sea loch. It is also just two miles from the nearest village and within easy reach of good quality restaurants and amenities.
This newly built bungalow offers comfortable and spacious accommodation.
There are three modern and well-furnished guest rooms, two double and one twin, all of which have en-suite bathroom facilities and sea views.
Marsco Bed and Breakfast
Marsco Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation in the village of Carbost, with wonderful views of Loch Harport and the beautiful Skye countryside.
Situated within walking distance of the world famous Talisker Whisky Distillery, 'Marsco' is a 16 mile scenic drive from Skye's main town of Portree.
The area offers many walking opportunities, for which Marsco could not be better situated - Glen Brittle, a popular area for walkers and climbers, is just 10 minutes away by car.
The gate at the bottom of the garden also leads to a wild flower meadow and Harport lochside.
At Marsco, guests can relax in the spacious lounge, with a wood burning stove and spectacular views over the loch.
The B&B's two main bedrooms also have stunning views over Loch Harport, and the third bedroom has views to the Cuillin Mountains.
Tir Alainn Bed and Breakfast
In the same part of the Isle of Skye as Ashaig B&B [see above], this modern purpose-built property offers bed and breakfast accommodation with beautiful views.
Tir Alainn is the perfect base for exploring, above Loch Greshornish and within a short drive of the island's capital Portree.
There are three rooms available for guests, and a warm welcome awaits from hosts, the Davison family.
They originally came to Skye after a holiday destination was chosen by one of the children sticking a pin in a map whilst blind-folded!
On arrival the whole family fell in love with the island, and this location in particular, so many years later they returned with a decision to offer B&B accommodation.
The unforgettable loch, sea and mountain views from Tir Alainn include a panoramic scene taking in the tiny islands of Eilean Mor and Eilean Beag.
